Inside the app

What it does out of the box

22 connected functions on one schema across 1 user type. Everything below is in the template before a line of customisation.

Services

Every treatment by category with a price that is either exact or an honest range, never “from” with no ceiling.

Real durations

A full head of colour is not 45 minutes. Publishing the real number sets the expectation before somebody is in the chair.

Preparation

Patch tests, arriving with clean hair, what to avoid beforehand. The things that otherwise get discovered on the day and waste an appointment.

Who does what

Not every stylist does every treatment. Saying so up front avoids a booking that has to be moved.

Always current

One catalogue, updated once. No laminated card that went out of date in March.

Links to booking

Where you run the booking app, a treatment leads straight into it with the right duration already chosen.

User types

One user type, and no signup.

This is a price list people read before deciding whether to call. Anything between them and the price costs you the booking, so there is no account and no capture form.

User, the only user

Sees every treatment, what it costs, how long it takes and who can do it. No account, because making somebody sign up to read a price list loses the booking.

  • Every treatment with a real price
  • Duration, so the day can be planned
  • Who is qualified for what
  • Patch-test and preparation notes up front
  • No account, no signup wall

The limits

What this is not.

The same list we give for every app in the catalogue, because the fastest way to a bad project is a promise made in a meeting that nobody wrote down.

It does not take bookings

Deliberately. If you need booking, that is Salon Appointment Booking. This is the catalogue alone, for salons that book by phone or in person.

It does not take payments

There is nothing to pay for here.

Prices are yours to keep current

The app shows what you enter, and a price list nobody updates is worse than no price list.

It carries no clients

It is your price list at your link. Discovery is a separate problem.

Questions

Questions, answered plainly.

If yours is not here, ask it on the call rather than guessing from a pricing page.

Why not just put prices on a website?

You should do both. This is for the phone in a client’s hand, with durations and qualifications a web price list usually omits, and it feeds the booking app if you run one.

Can we show ranges instead of fixed prices?

Yes, and for colour work you probably should. A range with a stated ceiling is honest; “from $60” with no upper bound is the thing clients complain about afterwards.

Can it upgrade to booking later?

Yes. The service structure is the same one Salon Appointment Booking uses, so it is a migration rather than a rebuild.

Do I get the source code?

Yes, on the same terms as every app here. No licence key and nothing that calls home.
