Inside the app
What it does out of the box
24 connected functions on one schema across 2 user types. Everything below is in the template before a line of customisation.
Home
The patient opens on their next consultation, anything newly available to read, and the status of a repeat request. Most calls to a practice are asking one of those three things.
Book
By symptom or by named clinician, against real availability. Intake is completed before the appointment rather than in a waiting room.
Records
Consultations, results, letters and prescriptions in one timeline the patient can read without ringing to ask.
List
The clinician’s day with intake already in, so the consultation starts with the history rather than with data entry.
Consult
History, notes and follow-up on one screen. Notes written during the consultation are better notes than notes written at 7pm.
Audit
Who opened which record, when, and from where. Retained and exportable, because “we think only the right people looked” is not an answer.
User types
Two apps, one record.
The patient is outside your practice and the clinician is inside it. In healthcare that boundary is not a UI preference. It is the thing an audit will ask about, so it is enforced per record and written down.
Patient, the patient
Books, joins the consultation, and afterwards has the notes, prescription and follow-up in one place. Sees their own record and nothing else, ever.
- Book by symptom or by clinician
- Join a video consultation from the app
- Complete intake before the appointment
- Read what the clinician wrote afterwards
- Repeat prescription requests with a clear status
Doctor, the clinician
Runs a list, sees the patient in front of them with full history, writes notes during rather than after, and issues follow-up. Access outside their own list is logged.
- Today’s list with intake already completed
- Full history on one screen, not five tabs
- Notes written during the consultation
- Prescribe and refer without leaving the record
- Every record opened is written to the audit log
The limits
What this is not.
The same list we give for every app in the catalogue, because the fastest way to a bad project is a promise made in a meeting that nobody wrote down.
It is not a medical device and it does not diagnose
It records and organises what clinicians decide. Nothing in it interprets a symptom, triages a patient or suggests a treatment.
We do not certify your regulatory compliance
HIPAA, GDPR and whatever applies where you practise remain yours to satisfy. We build the controls you specify, audit logging, access control, residency, and host them in your account.
It is not an emergency service
No triage, no out-of-hours routing, and the app says so plainly to patients rather than leaving it ambiguous.
We do not process payments or handle insurance claims
Fees are recorded; money and claims move through your existing providers.
Questions
Questions, answered plainly.
If yours is not here, ask it on the call rather than guessing from a pricing page.
Where does patient data live?
In your own cloud account, in the region you choose. That is the main structural reason to own rather than rent here: residency, retention and who can reach the database are yours to set.
Does it make us HIPAA or GDPR compliant?
No software does that alone, and treat any that claims to with suspicion. Compliance is technical controls plus contracts plus how your staff actually work. We build the controls you specify and host where you say.
Does it do video, or just scheduling?
Video consultations are in scope and connect to a provider you choose rather than being rebuilt. Rebuilding video delivery would be expensive and worse than what already exists.
Can patients complete intake beforehand?
Yes, and it is the clearest single win. Forms completed the night before, attached to the record on arrival, instead of a clipboard and a re-key.
How does it relate to Patient Portal in the business catalogue?
Patient Portal is the internal web system for a practice. This is the patient-facing and clinician-facing mobile side. They are complementary and can share one database in a fitted build.
Do I get the source code?
Yes. Both apps, API, schema, migrations and deployment configuration transfer to your organisation on delivery. No licence key and nothing that calls home.
