Stock state is shown on the grid, not discovered at checkout. Finding out at payment is the most expensive place to find out.

Past orders
Returns start from the order rather than from an email address nobody answers.
Live listings
Needs attention
A draft with no photos will not go live by accident. Half-finished listings are how a storefront starts looking untended.
To pick
On hold
Express is flagged in the pick queue rather than sorted by order time, because the promise is different.
Running low
Moving this week
Low is measured against how fast something actually sells, not against a fixed threshold that treats a bestseller and a slow mover the same.
Oak, made to order in the workshop. Six finishes, nine weeks.
Before you buy
Colour on a screen is not colour on oak. Most returns on furniture are a finish that looked different in a photograph, and a free sample costs us less than one collection.
Delivery
No countdown timer and no "three people are looking at this". Made-to-order furniture does not sell out in the next four minutes and pretending otherwise is a way of stopping people thinking.
Cancel any time in the next fortnight for a full refund. After the timber is cut it pays for material that cannot be un-cut, and that is the only reason for a deadline.
Position fourteen, updated weekly. It is a small workshop and the queue is the only honest answer to when will it arrive.
Your access
A morning or an afternoon rather than a twelve-hour window. Two people and one van can keep to half a day, and a whole-day window is a business protecting itself at the customer expense.
A bespoke finish cannot be resold so it cannot be returned, and that sentence appears before you order it rather than after.
The reason is asked for and does not affect whether the return is accepted. It exists so the dimensions on the product page can be made clearer for the next person.
Only people who bought it can review it, every review is shown, and the three-star one about delivery stays at the top because it is recent. Sorting by highest is available and is not the default.
The prompt asks what would have been useful to know. It produces better reviews than asking whether somebody liked it.
Saved items keep the finish you picked and do not get a price-drop email. Nothing here will nudge you.
Pay in three is interest free with no late fee. If you miss one nothing is added and nobody is reported, and that is the whole arrangement.
Access notes are part of the address rather than a checkout afterthought. A bench that will not fit up a staircase is a problem best found before it is made.
The access note is on the order the workshop reads, not only on the delivery paperwork. Whether it goes up a staircase changes how it is packed.
Two litres of smoked oil against four orders in smoked. That is the row that stops a bench, and it is a fortnight of lead time away.
Nine weeks of queue is quoted to customers as nine weeks. A workshop that quotes six and delivers nine loses the second order rather than the first.
The second one tells you the cancellation window is closing. Telling somebody a deadline is about to pass is worth more than any marketing message.
